Story
Hi there!
Thank you for visitn my page and for supporting a cause that's close to my heart.
Many of you will know that I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the impact on my families lives. At 34, I was otherwise so well. My husband had to cope with our children were only 4, 2 and 3 months old at that time, and we faced an uncertain future.
From the time I was diagnosed I was interested in finding out about developments in pancreatic cancer research. This has led to my participation as Chair of the GI Cancer Institute Consumer Advisory Panel. Here, I have learn more about digestive cancers and Iam actively working to make information about new cancer treatments available to future GI cancer sufferers and to place the voice of those diagnosed closer to making changes.
It is for these reasons I decided to take on this Gutsy Challenge is my way of supporting the critical research that I know is needed for new treatments. I greatly appreciate your support of my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Donations over $2 made through this platform are tax deductible and will be remitted directly through to the GI Cancer Institute.
Thanks so much for your support!
